Travel Procedures
- Effective 17 April 2022, fully vaccinated foreign travellers with a valid visa can enter Myanmar via Yangon International Airport.
- All travellers must provide a printed copy of the following travel documents upon check-in and arrival in Myanmar:
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival with the approved vaccines accepted by Myanmar (children aged 12 years and below are exempted from this requirement provided that they travel with fully vaccinated parents or guardians);
- Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test issued at most 72 hours before arrival to Myanmar (children aged 6 years and below are exempted from this requirement);
- COVID-19 medical insurance purchased from Myanmar Insurance for foreign travellers via;www.mminsurance.gov.mm;
- Diplomats, UN Officials and their families can submit health insurance from their respective countries.
- Travellers must submit a Health Declaration Form to the respective airport health authorities upon arrival to Myanmar.
