Life at a border town
This little town has the pleasant atmosphere of an isolated Sarawak interior administrative centre. Most people encounter this border town when travelling overland from Sabah to Sarawak or vice-versa. Limbang is also part of the Headhunter's Trail to one of Asia's best treasures, Mulu National Park.
The most interesting aspect of Limbang is its geographical peculiarity. The story goes that Limbang was annexed by Charles Anthoni Johnson Brooke, the second Rajah of Sarawak. Following this, in 1890, it became the fifth division of Sarawak. Take a flight into this little town for slow-living and its unique attractions.
